A scrumptious weekend breakfast biscuit.

| 2 cups all purpose flour | |
| 2 1/2 tsp baking powder | |
| 1/2 tsp baking soda | |
| 1/2 stick unsalted butter | |
| 1 tsp kosher salt | |
| 1/2 lb. breakfast sausage, cooked | |
| 4 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded | |
| 2 tbsp. green onion, chopped | |
| 1 cup cold buttermilk | |
| Honey, warmed |
A perfect blend of savory and sweet for breakfast.
| 1. | Preheat oven to 400˚F. |
| 2. | Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. |
| 3. | In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. |
| 4. | Grate the butter into the bowl and toss to combine evenly. |
| 5. | Fold in the sausage, cheddar cheese and green onion. |
| 6. | Add in the buttermilk and stir to combine into a moist dough. |
| 7. | Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into a rectangle. |
| 8. | Then, fold the dough over in half and cluster dough into balls to create individual biscuits. |
| 9. | Transfer the biscuits to the prepped baking sheet. |
| 10. | Brush the tops of the biscuits with cream. |
| 11. | Bake approx. 15 - 17 min., until the tops are a golden brown. |
| 12. | Remove from oven, and let cool for 5 min. Drizzle the tops with warm honey. |
