The scenario: you just got back from the store and they only had your fave bottle in the non-chilled section and you’re in need of a glass to unwind after a long week. Or maybe, you’re having guests over and misjudged how many bottles you needed to chill beforehand.
Well, there are a few different solutions out there when it comes to how to chill wine and champagne quickly. One of the easiest, in my opinion, is to simply wrap a cold, damp paper towel around the bottle and place it in the freezer.
Leave it in for 15-20 minutes and check. If the paper towel is stuck to bottle, run it under warm water and then unwind away…
